Stop Making me "Inactive" automatically!

I installed Lync 2013 on my Galasyx S4. Stock Sprint ROM, nothing special.

I sign-in to Lync and set my status to "Active". After turning my phone's screen off and after ~5 minutes I am automatically set to "Inactive". The whole reason I'm using the app on my phone is because I may not have access to my computer which senses "activity" by way of mouse movement etc. However, on the phone I simply press the power button to turn off the screen (not a full power off) and I expect that because the app is running in the background I would stay active. It's ridiculous to expect me to have my phone's screen one just to remain 'active' in Lync. It's pointless to have the app on my phone and with me at all times but show me as 'inactive' to all my colleagues just because my phone's screen is off.

So, my question is, can we have an option to prevent my status from changing until I manually change it?

Thanks.

Tools->Options->Status, change show me as inactive to a higher number.   You can go up to 360 minutes.
